INTERVIEW: Dealing with grief and giving loss the dignity it deserves

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Grief is something all of us will face, yet it’s a topic most of us shy away from.

Richland County Councilmember and author Tyra K. Little is the creator of “The Grief Etiquette Series,” a guide designed to help individuals, loved ones, and first responders navigate loss.

A book launch and signing event for the guide will be held Aug. 30 at Books-a-Million located at 164 Forum Drive in Columbia, from 3 p.m to 5 p.m.

Little joined WIS to discuss what showing up with presence instead of pressure looks like, and how to give loss the dignity it deserves.
