COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Friday kicks off our next couple of First Alert Weather Days for the potential of heavy rain.

  • First Alert Weather Days for the potential of heavy rain remains Friday and Saturday.

First Alert Summary:

We’ve dropped the First Alert Weather Day for Thursday. The cold front coming in from the north is really taking its sweet time getting here. Our best chance of rain tomorrow is in the late afternoon into the evening hours with a 40% shot. Highs are in the mid 90s with partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies.

The front moves in and stalls Friday. We see a 60% chance of rain and storms. It doesn’t quite look like a wash out, but we will keep up the First Alert Weather Day for now. With additional cloud coverage and rain we have mid 80s for highs.

Saturday is also a First Alert Weather Day. Overnight into the morning the chances for rain go up to 70%. Saturday has a 60% chance so we have another First Alert Weather Day. We’re in the upper 80s by the afternoon.

There’s a 40% chance of showers in the morning Sunday. Lows are in the mid 70s and highs reach the low 90s.

We dry up and warm up for Monday. Highs are in the mid 90s.
