Man arrested in connection with shooting three people near Santee
ORANGEBURG, SC (WIS) - The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office has taken a 28-year-old Vance man into custody after he allegedly shot three men near Santee on Sunday night.
According to OCSO spokesman Richard Walker, Keon Rivers has been charged with three counts of attempted murder.
One of the victims was shot twice in the stomach while another suffered two gunshots wounds in his side. The third victim was shot in the hand. All victims did receive medical treatment, but two victims had to be airlifted to Columbia for further treatment.
Currently, the status of the victims is unknown.
Authorities also say a woman was in the home during the incident, but she was not injured.
Bond was deferred to a circuit court judge at a later date.
