Two-alarm fire causes traffic troubles in Lexington

LEXINGTON, SC (WIS) - Fire crews are on the scene of a two-alarm structure fire on Main Street in Lexington. The Lexington Fire Chief tells WIS that the fire is at 322 West Main Street, next to the Quality Inn and Suites, near Highway 378.
Assistant Fire Chief David Fulmer says the building is home to Meade Hunt Engineering and the fire is under control.
The fire is near the busy intersection with Highway 378, so police are directing traffic to West Butler and Heywood. Drivers are recommended to detour around the area.
Fulmer says the fire was contained to the building and there are no injuries.
