Furry Friends Friday - Domino

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Domino is a 12-year-old Domestic Longhair cat available for adoption at Pawmetto Lifeline.

Domino is a sweet senior gentleman who is ready to spend his golden years being loved. He has a calm, easygoing personality and absolutely adores people. If you’re looking for a quiet companion, Domino is your guy. He loves curling up in a cozy lap for snuggles, soaking up gentle pets, and giving affectionate head butts. He doesn’t mind being held and enjoys being brushed and groomed, making him an easy cat to spoil.

Most of the day, you’ll find Domino happily napping. His dream home would be a quiet one with a sunny window where he can watch the world go by or a soft, cozy bed to curl up in for one of his many cat naps. If you’re looking for a laid-back, loving companion to share peaceful days and cozy evenings, Domino is ready to make himself at home.

In his previous home, Domino was exposed to a cat with Feline Leukemia (FeLV). He has already tested negative, which is great news, but he’ll need one more test in December to be sure. In the meantime, these precautions are simply to ensure accurate testing and the best possible care for Domino.

Domino has lived with other cats and gets along well with them. However, because of his FeLV exposure, he will need to be separated from other cats until he is re-tested in December, or be the only cat in the home—which he certainly wouldn’t mind, especially if it means getting all of your attention!

Domino is considered a “Priority Pet,” which comes with lots of great perks through Pawmetto Lifeline! He receives one free annual exam, all annual vaccines at no cost, and any medications he may need in his lifetime at cost plus 10%.

You can meet Domino at Pawmetto Lifeline during walk-in adoption hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Please note that Pawmetto Lifeline will be closed for adoptions on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Walk-in adoption hours will resume the following Friday. Appointments are also available for approved adopters during the week. Domino’s reduced adoption fee of $25 includes his neuter, microchip and up-to-date vaccines.
