Furry Friends Friday - Sally
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Sally is a 7-month-old Labrador Retriever mix available for adoption through Pawmetto Lifeline’s Shelter Diversion program, which helps community members with the rehoming of stray or personal pets.
Sally was saved from playing in traffic on the interstate by a Good Samaritan about a month ago. She is a super sweet, playful girl! She is very social and has never met a stranger. Sally is full of personality and joy for life. She has lots of fun energy and loves being part of the action!
Typical of the Labrador breed, Sally has webbed feet and absolutely loves the water! Sometimes she will even jump in, grab a fish, and bring it to you. She would be a great match for an active family that likes to get out on the water.
Sally would do best with a family that will continue her training, as she is still a puppy learning the ropes. She is a very happy girl who can get a little excitable and jumpy, but it’s all love! She would really benefit from an adult dog in the home to play with and learn from. Sally has not been directly tested with cats, but she would probably chase them and want to play.
Sally is a very healthy girl and heartworm negative! She is a great medium-sized dog, around 35 pounds. Sally is microchipped, vaccinated, spayed, and ready to find her forever family!
You can meet Sally at Pawmetto Lifeline this Friday & Saturday, May 29 & 30, during walk-in adoption hours from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sally has a reduced adoption fee of $50!
