Furry Friends Friday - Garnet and Emerald

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Garnet and Emerald are 2-month-old kittens available for adoption at Pawmetto Lifeline.

Garnet and Emerald were found in a park with their mom and siblings by Animal Control. Thankfully, these babies were very healthy, friendly, and ready for adoption!

Garnet, the buff-colored male, is a sweet, affectionate baby who loves being held, cuddling, and playing with kicker toys. Emerald, the tabby/calico female, is a sassy, independent princess who enjoys wrestling her toy mouse for hours, playing with water, and snuggling. After fun adventures, they love curling up for naps together in a cozy bed or kitty hammock.

Pawmetto Lifeline highly recommends adopting kittens in pairs! Having a playmate helps them burn energy, learn social skills, build confidence, and stay entertained while you’re away. They comfort each other, cuddle together, and grow up happier and more well-adjusted — plus, watching their bond and playful antics is double the fun for their future family.

You can meet Garnet, Emerald, and many other kittens at Pawmetto Lifeline this Friday & Saturday, May 15 & 16, during walk-in adoption hours from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Weekday appointments are also available for approved applicants. Their reduced adoption fee of $50 each includes their spay/neuter surgeries, microchips, and up-to-date vaccines.
