Furry Friends Friday - Forrest
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Forrest is a 9-month-old Cane Corso mix available for adoption at Pawmetto Lifeline.
Forrest is a super sweet, 85-pound pup who was found wandering along a road. He is a gentle giant with a huge heart—and absolutely no concept of his size. He’s convinced he’s Chihuahua-sized and will try to squeeze into your lap or personal space without hesitation. Forrest loves hanging out with his people and will gently nudge your hand when he wants attention. He loves playing with other dogs, exploring the yard, chewing on dog bones, and playing with his toys. When he’s done playing, he’s all about curling up with you for cuddle time!
Forrest is crate-trained and housetrained! He is eager to please and comes when called. He settles down nicely for naps in his crate or on a bed.
Forrest would thrive with a more active family that loves to have fun but also relax and snuggle! He is a big, clumsy goofball who would probably do great with kids but might knock little ones over. He’d do best with a family who will continue his training, as he is still a puppy learning the ropes. He would really benefit from an adult dog in the home to bond with and learn from.
You can meet Forrest at Pawmetto Lifeline this Friday & Saturday, April 24 & 25, during walk-in adoption hours from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or by appointment during the week. His adoption fee of $350 includes his neuter, microchip, and up-to-date vaccines. Get a head start on the adoption process by completing an adoption application online before your visit at www.pawmettolifeline.org/adoption. Pawmetto Lifeline is located at 1275 Bower Parkway in Columbia, South Carolina.
