COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Ford is a 4-year-old Siberian Husky available for adoption at Pawmetto Lifeline.

Ford’s loving owner made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him after losing her home and having to live in her car. She wanted a better life for him — and now Ford is ready to find a fresh start with a family of his own!

Ford is a big, lovable guy with an even bigger heart. Don’t let his size fool you, he’s a gentle soul who wants a family to love. Ford doesn’t need anything fancy, just some love, snacks, and a good bone to chew on. He really enjoys being around people and has that goofy Husky charm! He has a singing voice and isn’t afraid to use it. His adorable howl is sure to make you smile!

One of Ford’s favorite things to do is go for walks. He’s happy to match your pace, whether that’s a slow stroll or something faster. After a nice walk, he’s ready to relax, take a nap, and wind down for the evening. Ford is a perfect companion for someone who enjoys a routine.

Ford is housetrained and crate-trained. He’s done well with both male and female dogs of all sizes.

You can meet Ford at Pawmetto Lifeline this Friday and Saturday, April 10 & 11, during walk-in adoption hours from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or by appointment during the week. Ford is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. Get a head start on the adoption process by completing an adoption application online before your visit at www.pawmettolifeline.org/adoption. Pawmetto Lifeline is located at 1275 Bower Parkway in Columbia, South Carolina.
