Furry Friends Friday - Scout
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Scout is a 6-year-old Labrador Retriever available for adoption through Pawmetto Lifeline’s Shelter Diversion Program, which helps community members with rehoming of stray or personal pets.
Scout grew up in a loving home where she was well cared for and treated like part of the family. Her family cared deeply for her but had to make the difficult decision to find Scout a new home where she can get the time, attention, and activity she deserves.
Scout is a classic Labrador Retriever—friendly, playful, and loving! Scout is very people-oriented. She loves attention and wants to be involved in whatever her family is doing. She’s an energetic girl who loves to run, explore, and just have fun!
Scout also loves treats and is very food-motivated, which makes her eager to learn when snacks are involved. She is very smart and already knows some great basic commands like “sit”. She enjoys training, games, and activities that keep her mind busy.
Scout weighs about 65 pounds, is very healthy, and heartworm negative. She’ll thrive in an active home with a family that loves adventure and affection! Scout loves playing with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine friend to romp around with. She is also great with children of all ages!
If you’re looking for a friendly, fun-loving Labrador, Scout could be your perfect match!
You can meet Scout at Pawmetto Lifeline this Friday & Saturday, March 13 & 14, during walk-in adoption hours from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or by appointment during the week.
