COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Angus is a 2-year-old Terrier mix available for adoption at Pawmetto Lifeline.

Angus was found as a stray. He is a joyful, affectionate boy with the silliest smile — and he wears it proudly all the time. Angus loves to meet new friends! He absolutely loves humans and bonds really strongly to his people, always happy to be by your side. He enjoys exploring outside and spending quiet moments in the yard, just sitting and watching the world. He’s curious about everything!

At 68 pounds, Angus is a big, gentle sweetheart who sometimes forgets his size — he has absolutely no spatial awareness, which only adds to his charm. He can get super excited at first, but he settles down quickly and then happily chills out.

Angus is housetrained, walks well on leash, and doesn’t destroy toys or household items. He knows “sit” and “lay down” and is working on “stay,” “paw,” and “come.” He’s smart and a good listener, though he can be a tiny bit stubborn.

Angus would do great with an active family that can match his fun energy and also enjoys cuddles! He would love a family that is home often to spend time together. He is talented at climbing short fences, so he’ll need a secure yard or supervised outdoor time.

Angus has not been tested with other pets yet. He has shown friendly excitement when he sees other dogs and might do well with a playful buddy. Angus would love to meet your dog for a play date!

Angus has a reduced adoption fee of $50. He is heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and healthy! You can meet Angus at Pawmetto Lifeline during walk-in adoption hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or by appointment during the week.
