Furry Friends Friday - Ortman
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Ortman is a 9-month-old cat available for adoption at Pawmetto Lifeline.
Ortman was found with his brother at just 3 months old this past summer. They were perched on top of a gas station trash can -- skinny, tired, and trying to survive. Ortman’s paw pads were sore from the heat. A compassionate Good Samaritan brought them in and helped nurse them back to health.
Ortman is a handsome, all-black kitty with a gentle heart who truly does not know a stranger. He is an easygoing boy who loves ear scratches and gentle pets. Ortman will rub his head against people when he wants attention. He enjoys being held and will purr happily while soaking up affection. He is the ultimate lap kitty when it is time to relax. When he is not cuddling, Ortman loves playing! He loves batting balls around like a soccer pro. He also enjoys cozy naps, relaxing downtime, and watching the world go by from a comfy window.
Ortman is a well-mannered boy and litter box trained. He gets along great with other cats and currently lives peacefully with feline friends at Pawmetto Lifeline. Ortman is neutered, healthy, and ready to be your new mini house panther!
You can meet Ortman at Pawmetto Lifeline this Friday and Saturday, February 20 & 21, during walk-in adoption hours from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or by appointment during the week. Ortman’s adoption fee of $25 includes his neuter, microchip, and up-to-date vaccines. Get a head start on the adoption process by completing an adoption application online before your visit at www.pawmettolifeline.org/adoption. Pawmetto Lifeline is located at 1275 Bower Parkway in Columbia, South Carolina.
