COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Sanders is a 4-year-old Terrier mix available for adoption at Pawmetto Lifeline.

Sanders was recently found tied up in the rain. He is believed to have been there for a couple of days. With his healthy appearance and loving nature, it was clear he had once been deeply loved and well cared for. Despite what he endured, he still carries that happy, trusting spirit.

Sanders is a puppy in a big dog’s body! He is super goofy and loves to run around and play. He truly doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. Sanders loves everyone he meets and has a very sweet temperament. He’s a total snuggler who thinks he’s a lap dog and happily gives cuddles any chance he gets. He enjoys playtime, toys, and being close to his humans.

Sanders has no idea how big he is! He loves to jump up for full-body hugs unannounced, but is responding well to correction. He is still learning his basic manners and would love a family willing to continue his training. He is very smart and will do just about anything for cheese! Sanders is potty-trained and crate-trained. He has greeted dogs of all sizes politely through the fence, even though he hasn’t had a direct one-on-one test yet. And while some people judge bully breeds, Sanders proves they’re really just big babies at heart!

You can meet Sanders at Pawmetto Lifeline this Saturday, November 29, during walk-in adoption hours from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or by appointment during the week. Sanders reduced the adoption fee to $50 includes his neuter, microchip, and up-to-date vaccines. Get a head start on the adoption process by completing an adoption application online before your visit at www.pawmettolifeline.org. Pawmetto Lifeline is located at 1275 Bower Parkway in Columbia, South Carolina.
