Furry Friends Friday - Ace

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Ace is a 7-year-old Australian Cattle Dog available for adoption through Pawmetto Lifeline’s Home-to-Home Adoption Program.

Ace has been with his owner since he was 1 year old. However, due to personal circumstances, his owner no longer has the time to care for a dog. He is very accustomed to the love and stability of living in a home and will be a wonderful companion for a lucky family.

Ace is very loving and a true gentleman. He has wonderful manners when meeting new people and children. Ace has beautiful, soft fur. He loves to be petted and get lots of attention. Ace is very calm and gentle, especially for his breed. He is always happy to see his family and will greet you with a smile and a tail wag. Ace loves to follow his humans around or snuggle up on the couch. He is very loyal and is happiest right by your side.

Ace knows some great basic commands like “sit” and “down” and will always come when you call. He is potty trained, and his crate is his cozy little kingdom. Nothing gets him excited more than the word “walk!” Ace walks beautifully on a leash and doesn’t pull. He does great with dogs that are his size or larger, but is allergic to cats. Ace is very healthy but has been battling with some skin allergies. Luckily, his allergies are finally under control with the right medications!

You can meet Ace this Friday and Saturday (October 24 & 25) during Pawmetto Lifeline’s walk-in adoption hours from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or by appointment during the week. Ace’s reduced adoption fee of $50 includes his neuter, microchip, and up-to-date vaccines.
