Furry Friends Friday - Linus and Lacy

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Linus and Lacy are 3-month-old Terrier mix puppies available for adoption at Pawmetto Lifeline.

Pawmetto Lifeline rescued Linus, Lacy, and their siblings from a local municipal shelter. Their foster mom calls them “cow puppies” because of their adorable black and white spots!

Linus is a very friendly, confident fellow who has never met a stranger. He loves to be told that he is a good boy and will lean in close for a hug. Lacy is a sweet, gentle girl. She can be a little shy at first, but don’t let her fool you – she warms up quickly and is ready to play or snuggle!

Linus and Lacy love to run around outside. They enjoy playing chase and wrestling with other pups. When they’re not zooming around, you can find them soaking up the sunshine, watching the world go by. After playtime, they love belly rubs and cuddling up on the couch with their humans for a TV marathon.

Linus and Lacy have been raised in loving foster homes since they were just 8 weeks old. This has given them a great head start on socialization and learning to be family companions. These pups have been raised around 3 adult dogs in the home, which is a huge benefit for puppies. Adult dogs help teach them manners, social cues, and boundaries. Linus and Lacy have also made great progress with crate training and potty training. Their foster mom has started teaching them basic commands like “sit” for treats and “in” when it’s time to go in the crate. They are very fast learners!

You can meet Linus and Lacy this Saturday, October 18, during Pawmetto Lifeline’s walk-in adoption hours from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Their reduced adoption fees of $100 include their spay/neuter, microchip, and up-to-date vaccine. Get a head start on the adoption process by completing an adoption application online before your visit at www.pawmettolifeline.org/adoption. Pawmetto Lifeline is located at 1275 Bower Parkway in Columbia, South Carolina.
