Bond set for suspect’s brother arrested after shooting inside Haywood Mall
GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Greenville Police Department reported a second person has been arrested in connection with a shooting at Haywood Mall on June 13.
Police said Kalief Walker, 18, is facing charges of breach of peace high and aggravated, contributing to delinquency of a minor and possession of a stolen pistol.
According to the City of Greenville Bond Court, Kalief’s bond was set at $15,000 total. He was given a $5,000 bond on each charge.

An officer at the mall heard gunshots in the plaza between Macy’s and Belk and found a woman who had been shot in the foot, then went to Belk and found a man with a gunshot wound to the shoulder and neck, police said.
Officers reported Kalief, who was the one shot in the shoulder, was taken to the hospital after the shooting, where he was released on Friday before his arrest.
His brother, 17-year-old Kamari Stephone Walker, was previously arrested and charged with high and aggravated assault and battery after the shooting. He was charged as an adult, police said.
