House fire leaves 1 without a home, causes estimated $300k in damage

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The Columbia Fire Department is investigating the cause of a house fire that caused an estimated $300,000 worth of damages Saturday night.
The two-story house was located at 2227 Wheat Street in Columbia, off Harden Street. Flames and smoke could be seen from the home when firefighters arrived just after 6 p.m.
No injuries were reported in the fire, however, one person was displaced from the home.
