Police searching for vehicle of interest in drive-by shooting

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Columbia Police are searching for a vehicle and people of interest in a drive-by shooting at an apartment complex early Friday morning.

Police said that at about 12:30 a.m. Friday, witnesses said that an unknown vehicle sped through the complex at 100 Lorick Avenue and fired a gun at an apartment building. Several apartments in the building were occupied and struck.

No one was injured.

A vehicle was captured by surveillance video leaving the apartment complex around the time of the shooting. Investigators are working to identify the vehicle and speak to occupants or occupant in the car at the time of the incident.
