11 people displaced after early morning fire

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - An apartment fire in Columbia displaced 11 people Saturday morning.
Officials say the blaze happened just before 6:30 a.m. at the Quail Run Apartments on Lake Avenue.
Investigators say the fire caused approximately $375,000 dollars in damages.
No injuries were reported.
The Richland County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
Five adults and six children have been displaced as a result of the fire, according to the Red Cross.
The Red Cross is providing the families with temporary housing, financial assistance for food, clothing and comfort kits, as well as referrals to partner agencies to assist with long-term recovery.
