Investigators: Suspect in armed robbery stole medicines from pharmacy

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Richland County deputies are seeking a suspect in connection with an armed robbery at a Ride Aid on Broad River Road Monday night.

Investigators say a male suspect entered the store around 6 p.m. and presented a weapon to the on-duty clerk.

The clerk told deputies that the suspect demanded several medicines before he received them and promptly left the store without incident.

A spokesman for the department was unable to provide a description of the suspect at this time.
