Two adults, three children dead after shooting in Sumter

Columbia attorney Tyler Bailey announces that he has filed a lawsuit on behalf of the Elmwood Park Neighborhood Association (EPNA) at the request of its Board of Directors and President, John Wilkinson, alleging that the vacant, blighted adjacent residential property at 2201 Lincoln Street be declared a public nuisance.

Lott adds Johnson has been charged with human trafficking under the age of 18, criminal solicitation of a minor, second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and two counts of grand larceny.

Pearson’s lawyer, Todd Rutherford, told the court his client was not at Meadowlake Park at the time of the shooting and stated he has video evidence he was at home that night. He also said the threat Pearson made about the shooting was posted after the shooting happened, not before.
