COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - We have several programming changes today, Saturday, as a result of the schedule changes with the SEC Basketball Tournament.

You are probably aware that a tornado hit the Georgia Dome Friday evening, causing the cancellation of the late game of the SEC Tournament evening session (Georgia vs. Kentucky).  The remaining schedule of the tournament has been revised, and this has changed WIS' Saturday broadcast schedule as follows:

  • 12-2pm: SEC Basketball - Georgia vs. Kentucky
  • 2-2:30pm: Veggie Tales - NBC children's (E/I) program postponed from 12 noon
  • 2:30-6pm: NBC Sports coverage of Arnold Palmer Invitation Golf competition
  • 6-8:30pm: SEC Basketball - Arkansas vs. Tennessee
  • 8:30-10:30pm (approx.): SEC Basketball - Georgia/Kentucky Winner vs. Mississippi State
  • 10:30 (approx.) -11pm: NBC Law & Order (joined in progress)

WIS News 10 at 6 and NBC Nightly News will be shown live 6-7pm on Time Warner Cable channel 10 in the Columbia, Sumter, and Orangeburg metro areas and WIS News 10 at 6 will be streamed live on wistv.com. WIS News 10 will be monitoring the possibility of severe weather in our area Saturday afternoon and evening and will interrupt regular programming as needed.
