Three shot during attempted robbery at Atlanta mall

(Atlanta-AP) April 2, 2007 - Atlanta police have released the names of the three people wounded during a weekend shooting at Greenbriar Mall.

Officer Steve Coleman identifies the three wounded during the attempted robbery about 5:15pm Saturday 25-year-old Michael Thomas and security guards 45-year-old Dorian Conner and 49-year-old Michael Juniel.

The three remain hospitalized, but their conditions are continuing to improve.

Police say the suspects - three young men - got away in a sport utility vehicle.

The injured were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where two are listed in fair condition and one in serious condition.
