York police seize 5 kilos of cocaine

(Rock Hill-AP) August 7, 2006 - In what police say may be the largest cocaine bust in York County, investigators seized five kilograms of the drug at two Fort Mill hotels.

Marvin Brown is commander of the York County Multijurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit. He said Saturday's seizure followed a monthlong investigation of two men from Knoxville, Tennessee.

34-year-old Victor Demont Brown is charged with his third offenses both of trafficking cocaine and possession of marijuana. He also was charged with resisting arrest.

35-year-old David William Sleet Junior was charged with his second offense of trafficking cocaine.
