Springdale man arrested after vehicle theft, hiding meth in deputy vehicle

(WIS) - One man is facing several charges for allegedly stealing a vehicle.
Officers in Springdale say they responded to Airport Boulevard on Monday to help in the search for a stolen vehicle. They say an officer later spotted a man pumping gas into the vehicle.
The man took off on foot and was arrested by Cayce police.
During his arrest, officers say he tried to hide meth in the officer's backseat.
