SC murder suspect will be extradited from Florida
A murder suspect arrested in Florida will be extradited back to South Carolina to face charges.
Carlos Enrique Lowe, 55, is accused of breaking into a home on September 28th and 29th in 2015.
Deputies say he sexually assaulted and murdered a woman.
Lowe was identified as a previous acquaintance of the victim. DNA evidence aided in this arrest
Lowe is currently police custody at the Orange County Detention Center in Orlando, Florida on a fugitive for justice warrant.
Once extradited to South Carolina, Lowe will officially be charged with murder, first-degree criminal sexual conduct, kidnapping, and first-degree burglary.
Columbia Police Department is working with Florida law enforcement on extradition arrangements.
