Attention: Two dead birds test positive for West Nile Virus

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The City of Columbia tweeted this afternoon that they have been alerted of two dead birds found within the city limits that have tested positive for West Nile Virus.

The infected birds were found in parts of North Columbia and Rosewood areas.

In response, spraying for adult mosquitoes will commence in these areas on Wednesday the 19th and will conclude on Thursday the 20th.
