Crews continue to remove objects from blocked roadways in Lexington Co.

LEXINGTON, SC (WIS) - Crews in Lexington County are continuing work to clear a pair of roads that are blocked by objects.

Utility Lines are down in 100 block Able Harmon Lane. Motorists should seek an alternate route. SCE&G crews on the scene and securing lines.

Officials have closed Catawba Trail after utility lines have fallen in the roadway. Crews from SCE&G are working to clear the area. Workers are also removing downed utility lines from the 500 block of Old Chapin Road. SCE&G has been informed about these downed utility lines.

Officials also closed Corley Mill Road due to downed utility power lines in the area. Crews with the Lexington County Fire Service are in the area. SCE&G has also been notified about the power lines in the roadway.

Wyatt Way was also closed near the 300 block after a tree fell across the roadway. This road is now partially open and passable to traffic.
