FOREST ACRES, SC (WIS) - Two people were arrested on domestic violence and drug charges in what Forest Acres Police say is the largest cash seizure in the area.
Paul Andrew Roland, 37, and Susan Bezner Barber, 28, were arrested by the Forest Acres Police Department on Sept. 4 at Biltmore Apartments on Beltline Blvd.
Officers were called to the apartments by neighbors who heard yelling and screaming. Officers say a domestic dispute had taken place and they found drugs while conducting their investigation.
Officers found marijuana and mushrooms with other narcotics that are being analyzed by SLED. They also seized $116,000 in US currency. Officials say this is the largest cash seizure in Forest Acres.
Rowland and Barber were both charged with 3rd-degree domestic violence, possession with intent to distribute mushrooms, and possession/distribution of drugs within proximity to a school.
Additional charges may be forthcoming.
Rowland and Barber were released on bonds at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center on Sept. 7.
