COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A man accused of conning two men out of thousands of dollars earlier this year has been extradited to Columbia from Las Vegas, according to the Columbia Police Department.

Bradley Donald Smith is charged with two counts of obtaining signature/property under false pretenses.

Smith is accused of convincing two men over the phone to transfer money to his account to purchase cars for them. After receiving the money, he failed to deliver the cars but kept the cash.

The United States Marshals Service's (USMS) Task Force Operation Intercept aided in the extradition and arrest.

Smith is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
