One person cited after hitting motorcyclist on Bush River Rd.

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - One person has been cited in a three-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle that happened in North Columbia Thursday morning.

Police say Gregory Tucker, 27,  failed to yield the right of way and hit a motorcyclist on the 600 block of Bush River Road around 9 a.m.

Officers say the motorcycle rider was hit by a car after the driver of the car failed to yield the right of way. The crash caused the motorcyclist to hit the front of the car and land on the windshield of a third car.

Tucker was cited with failure to yield, operating an uninsured vehicle and having an expired tag.

The motorcyclist was hospitalized with several broken bones and other serious injuries.
