COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The Richland County Sheriff's Department Fugitive Task Force, along with U.S. Marshals, have arrested two brothers for murder.

On Sunday, August 12 around 2 a.m. deputies responded to the 2000 block of Faraway Drive in reference to a shooting.

At the scene, deputies found a woman with a gunshot wound to her upper body. She was transported to Palmetto Health Richland where she died from her injuries.

Officials arrested Eugene Ivery, 26, on Saturday, September 1st at the Motel 6 on Burning Tree Drive.

He has been charged with Murder in connection with this shooting. He is also charged with domestic violence, harassment, and weapons violation from a previous incident not related to this victim.

Forest Ivery, 24, was arrested on Monday, September 3rd on Duke Avenue. He was taken into custody without incident and has been charged with murder.

Neither brother received bond and both are awaiting later court dates.

They are being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center
