COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A driver crashed into a Columbia home on Monday afternoon, resulting in an estimated $20,000 in damage.
The accident happened around 12:35 p.m. The female driver left the roadway and hit a duplex on the 2100 block of Slighs Avenue, according to Columbia Police. According to CPD, the crash caused about $15,000-$20,000 in damage.
A man was inside the home on his couch at the time of the accident, CPD said. He has been transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver did not have any injuries. They will be cited for driving too fast for conditions and driving without a driver's license
The Columbia Police Department, Columbia Fire and EMS are still on the scene.
