Lexington deputies investigating fatal shooting of 27-year-old man
WEST COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Lexington County deputies are investigating a fatal shooting incident that happened in West Columbia Friday night.
The shooting happened in the 100 block of Riverbend Drive around 11 p.m.
Deputies with the Lexington County Sheriff's Department say they found a gunshot victim at the scene. He was transported to the hospital where he later died. The Lexington County Coroner identified the victim as 27-year-old Corey Jamison.
Investigators say they believe the shooting is an isolated incident and there is no immediate threat to the public.
