RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) - The Richland County Sheriff's Department says a man wanted for a June incident where a woman was held against her will and assaulted is now in custody.

The sheriff's department fugitive team and U.S. Marshals arrested Najjar Infinity Faustin on Thursday at the R&R Lounge, located at 1709 Decker Blvd.

Faustin is accused of a June 11 crime where he allegedly entered a residence and struck a victim multiple times. When she tried to leave, Faustin allegedly hindered her from doing so and assaulted her again.

The sheriff's department says Faustin was located and arrested thanks to a Crimestoppers tip.

He's been charged with first-degree assault and battery, kidnapping, and domestic violence. He's currently being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
