CPD to provide update on K-9 death investigation
Officers said 2-year-old Turbo experienced a heat-related work injury and died.

(WIS) - The Columbia Police Department will provide an update on Thursday regarding the work-related death of a K-9.

Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook will discuss the death investigation of a 2-year-old yellow Labrador retriever named Turbo, who died from a heat-related work incident on July, 28.

Turbo worked with the CPD Bomb Squad.

Chief Holbrook will discuss the results of an internal investigation at 1:30 p.m.
