Gamecocks to take part in Vancouver Showcase on Thanksgiving Weekend

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The South Carolina Gamecocks are headed north of the border this season.
Dawn Staley's squad will be one of eight teams competing in the women's showcase in the Vancouver Showcase in November.
The Gamecocks will open play on Thanksgiving Day against East Tennessee State. From there, they would either face Oregon State or Western Kentucky. Notre Dame, Gonzaga, Rutgers, and Drake are also playing in this holiday tournament.
The championship game is slated to take place on Nov. 24.
