COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Two women have been arrested after stealing items from a store in northeast Richland County.

Officials said 19-year-old Asia Williams was taken into custody on August 8 and charged with robbery. Deputies also charged 19-year-old Brianna Bradshaw for robbery after she turned herself in on Monday.

Both women were observed "acting suspicious" at a clothing store at the 200 block of Forum Drive #2 on July 23. An employee saw one of the women taking a pack of shirts to the back of the store. The employee who saw the two women attempted to confront one of them. However, one of the two women was able to make it out of the building. As he called 911, the second woman pepper sprayed the employee and proceeded to assault him before leaving.

The employee only sustained minor injuries.
