(WIS) - A Midlands woman celebrated two major events on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, Aug. 8, Grace Clyburn's celebrated her 100th  birthday. The Midlands matriarch now shares her birthday with her family's newest member - her great-grandson.

The Kershaw Co. centenarian has a big family – Mrs. Grace, affectionately known as MiMi – has 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren including one little lady named Grace in her honor, and 1 great-great-grandchild. 21 grands in all!

"She's a gem and full of sass," great-granddaughter Grace Catoe said. "We are all so proud. She is like I said 100, she can't tell a funny memory without laughing the whole way through! she's sharp as a whip and she ran our local "Dodds" until they closed their doors. Everyone knows Ms. Grace from the dime store."

And her newest great-grandson, Baker Lewis Gunn, was born on Aug. 8 in Lexington County to parents Matthew and Anna Gunn of Lexington.
