(WIS) - The Virginia man being sought by law enforcement and U.S. Marshals was captured in South Carolina on Thursday.
Daniel Earl Webb was arrested in the Piercetown community of Anderson County on Thursday while attempting to run from law enforcement.
"Daniel Earl Webb has eluded police on several occasions attempting to evade his pending charges in Buckingham County Virginia. However, his running days have come to an end courtesy of the US Marshals Operation Intercept Fugitive Task Force, SLED, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Anderson County Sheriff's Office," Marshals said in a news release.
Webb is allegedly charged with: selling of narcotics, conspiracy to violate a drug act, possession of a firearm by a felon and altering a serial number on a firearm. He was indicted on June 12 by the circuit court of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
"Fast feet may have helped Webb elude police since June, but he failed to realize law enforcement partnerships span near and far," U.S. Marshal Thomas Griffin. "We appreciate the long hours our local, state, and federal partners bestowed upon us for this case."
