COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - In August, two right lanes heading south on Bull Street will be closed for up to 35 calendar days as the city works on a project.
The closure will begin on Aug. 13 at 7 a.m. near Wallace Street while crews work on the Wallace Street Drainage Rehabilitation Project, says Bennie Gable with the City of Columbia.
Drivers will be able to travel in the far left lanes and the median, but the other two lanes will be closed. It's unclear how far down Bull Street the lanes will be closed.
The project is to rehabilitate and reconstruct stormwater conveyance near Wallace Street between Elmwood and Franklin Street. The original budget for this project was $802,500, according to the City of Columbia website.
