CAMDEN, SC (WIS) - Officers with the Camden Police Department are searching for a man wanted in connection to a murder that happened in an apartment complex on Thursday.

Fredrick Siou Beaufort, 34, was identified by officials as the person who shot and killed Mickeel Deshawn Albert in the Cedarbrook Apartments. Beaufort is described as a black man, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds. He has tattoos on his arms, neck, and shoulders.

Officers responded to the Cedarbrook Apartments just before 10 a.m. on Thursday after a woman called and asked for help, according to an incident report. A male victim was found lying in a pool of blood with an apparent gunshot wound in front of one of the apartment units. An empty shell casing was found at the foot of the victim along with a small clear plastic bag with a white powder substance inside.
