One arrested after police enter Columbia apartment, fugitive not found

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The Richland County Fugitive Task force and U.S. Marshals established a perimeter on Lorick Circle on Friday morning, looking for a wanted fugitive.

After entering the home, law enforcement found three individuals inside. One person was taken into custody on an unrelated charge. There were no wanted fugitives in the building.

According to Columbia Police Department, they received a report early Friday morning about one of the wanted fugitives. Richland County Sheriff's Department, Columbia Police and U.S. Marshals arrived at Latimer Manor Apartments around 4 a.m.

Officials were heard calling for wanted fugitive Harrell Williams.

Williams was not found.

RCSD announced Thursday that they are looking for Harrell Williams and one other person by the name Amos Hosey. They are wanted for attempted armed robbery, attempted murder, and weapons violations.

Williams and Hosey are still on the run. They are both considered armed and dangerous.
