Hometown hero Mike Williams holds first free youth football camp
(WIS) - San Diego Chargers Wide Out Mike Williams held his first free Youth Football Camp and Community Fun Day on Saturday, July 21.
The event took place at Lake Marion High School in Santee, SC where the Vance native first became a star.
More than 500 kids participated in the camp. The former Clemson Tiger standout embraced the opportunity to be a role model for the children within his community.
Williams' mission is simple and that's to provide a memorable, fun-filled experience for years to come.
Williams was one of the key players on Clemson's 2016 National Title team. On Saturday, he made his bold prediction that the Tigers will return to the top of the college football mountain.
He also believes that senior quarterback Kelly Bryant does not deserve some of the criticism thrown his way.
