(WIS) - A South Carolina woman has been given a tough time on social media after she posted her ire toward nursing mothers in public.
A post attributed to a Gaffney woman who said that she does not want her kids seeing breasts - and will take it up with the mother and nursing baby if she had to.
The post says: "I'm not sorry [sic]- The next female that tries to whip her boob out to breastfeed in front of my kids will get a black eye, move that baby [sic] bc I'll punch it too. #zerocare #why #inpublicletsjustshowkidsboobs #notmine."
Her post has been shared via other Facebook posts in screenshots and gone viral before being deleted, although it's unclear if she's kept her post up. A number of commenters said they've sent the woman screenshots of them breastfeeding their babies - verifying with screenshots in the comments.
Some commenters have even gone to her job's Facebook page, Petsense Gaffney, to complain about her comments. The business responded Tuesday, saying: "We absolutely would never condone violence such as was recently posted by a Petsense employee. These are her individual views and do not reflect the views of Petsense or its employees."
We've reached out to the woman via Facebook and she has yet to respond.
