Lexington Police seek attempted armed robbery suspect

Man wanted for armed robbery attempt

LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Lexington Police need help identifying a man suspected of armed robbery.

Officials say a Lexington man approached an elderly woman in the parking lot of a business on North Lake Drive on July 10 with a knife and demanded money.

The victim told the man she did not have any cash and he ran away.

The subject was described as a white male between the ages of 17-21 years old who is approximately 5'10" in height. He has a slender build and shaggy brown hair.

He was dressed in an orange t-shirt with a dark blue or black polo shirt over the t-shirt, tan shorts and a grey ball cap. He was also wearing large dark sunglasses.

Investigators say he may have had an accomplice with him in a gold car.
