Woman struck by her own car at Dutch Fork High School
IRMO, SC (WIS) - An adult woman was struck by her own car in Irmo on Thursday around 11:30 a.m., SCHP Trooper David Jones confirmed.
Emergency response vehicles responded to the scene on Old Tamah Road near the Dutch Fork High School football stadium. The accident happened in front of the football stadium.
The woman did sustain injuries, the extent of those injuries is unknown at this time. That person has been taken to the hospital.
No students were injured, a Lexington-Richland School District 5 spokesperson said.
The Richland County Sheriff's Department, Highway Patrol, and L-R 5 are investigating the incident.
