LEXINGTON, SC (WIS) - The man Lexington Police sought in an alleged indecent exposure incident at the Lexington County Public Library has been arrested.

Lexington Police Chief Terrence Green said Alex David Trujillo, 25, of Lexington, South Carolina, for an incident that occurred at the Lexington County Public Library located at 5440 Augusta Road in Lexington earlier this week.

Officers received a call on Monday after a 13-year-old girl saw a man pull down his short and expose himself to her at the Lexington County Public Library on Augusta Road. Officials say the man touched himself in a sexual manner before the girl turned and walked away.

"The victim reported the incident to her parents that evening and the Lexington Police Department was immediately contacted to file a report," Green said in a release.

Trujillo's identity was provided by multiple sources in response to a news release that was sent out as he had recent arrests for indecent exposure in the City of Cayce in January 2018 and in the City of Columbia in March 2018. Trujillo was given bond and released from jail on these previous misdemeanor charges.

For this most recent arrest, Trujillo is currently at the Lexington County Detention Center where he is awaiting a bond hearing for the charge of indecent exposure.
