COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A suspect wanted for punching women in the face in Columbia has been arrested, according to the Columbia Police Department.

39-year-old Floyd Gholson was taken into custody near Myers Street and Ames Road. He has been charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and first-degree domestic violence for two incidents of striking female acquaintances, causing them to fall to the ground. In one such instance, Gholson allegedly drew a firearm and pointed it at one of the victims while making threats.
