LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) - A family of five will not be staying home Thursday after a fire ripped through their residence.
According to the Lexington County Department of Public Safety, firefighters were called to a home on Gum Street just before 8 a.m. and spotted smoke pouring from the residence.
The fire, according to investigators, appeared to have started due to a wood-burning stove inside the home.
No one was injured.
Investigators believe the fire caused about $30,000 in damages.
